Question by mac: What is the best solution for home fitness, treadmill or elliptical machine ?
Hi all, would like to know what is best for home fitness, a treadmill, an elliptical machine (all in one) or a fixed bike ? I have about 600 Euros to spent, (+/- 800 Dollars). Would be nice to know the pros and cons between them.
Thanks
Mario

Answer by Melissa Treadmill is definitely best. You have to do basically twice the work on an elliptical to get the same results as a treadmill.

Question by jahr: LifeCore Fitness R100 Rowing Machine help?
I have a LifeCore Fitness R100 Rowing Machine. Something seems a little off, though, because whenever I pull actual tests on them, the splits are remarkably higher than they are on the concept2 erg I use at school. It might have to do with resistance, but I don’t really understand. Does anybody know how to fix this problem or what is causing it?
I have moved through the different magnetic settings (1-16), and none of them really change anything.
